A spirit level or bubble level is an instrument designed to indicate whether a surface is level or plumb. Different types of spirit levels are used for different jobs.
Using a carpenters level to ensure levels and angles are accurate is very important for any landscaping or construction job and a good quality level that will last a long time is the best investment.
Tip: When levelling out a large area of ground for turf or paving, firmly attach your level to a piece of straight hardwood timber for a more accurate result.
