Dampfix is a elastomeric one part water-based polyurethane membrane used for waterproofing shower recesses, bathrooms, laundries, balconies, decks, roofs and planter boxes. It can also be used behind retaining walls where future moisture may be a problem.
Before appling Dampfix it is very important that the surface is clean and dry, newly laid concreate for example should be allowed to cure for up to 3 weeks before applying Dampfix.
To waterproof an area properly always use two coats as it offers the best protection from water.
